Ten of us we are just about to Book somewhere at Lake Garda, we hope to do the Stelvio Pass and then thoughts are the same as yours head north towards Nurgburgring and then back to calais across on the tunnerl. I have a K1200S and we're off on a tour in March, so this has helped me choose a tank-bag other than BMW's (now an eye-watering £171!). Got the HG bag for £42. I've also ordered a crampbuster, which should help with the long, cold slog down to Switzerland. Thanks for taking the time to write up your purchases - you've definitely helped at least one other biker. Just wanted to say thanks for a really helpful piece.
